Karen R. McCloskey, CFP®, CPWA®

Chief Financial Officer, Wealth Advisor

Karen lends over three decades of experience to CMH Wealth Management.  Prior to launching CMH Wealth Management, she served as Senior Vice President at US Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management. In her role at US Trust, Karen was responsible for facilitating all aspects of financial planning and lending for individuals, families and business entities.  Earlier in her career, Karen worked as a financial advisor with Advest, Inc. and was a Director at Fidelity Investments in the Institutional Tax-Exempt Retirement Plans division.  In addition to the Certified Financial Planner designation, Karen holds her Masters Degree in Financial Planning.  Karen is a graduate of Boston University and earned her CFP designation in 1992 from the College for Financial Planning and her CPWA designation in 2010 from IMCA. Karen previously served as the Board Chair for SeaCare Health Services, a non-profit organization that provided health care access and care coordination to uninsured people in Rockingham County.  Karen is a 2013 graduate of Leadership NH. Karen has served as the Treasurer of Leadership NH and is the past-President of the New Hampshire Estate Planning Council.

Thomas D. Burleigh, CFP®, CTFA

Wealth Advisor

Tom brings over 15 years of financial services experience to CMH Wealth Management. Prior to joining CMH Wealth Management in June 2019, he served as Principal and Relationship Manager at Longfellow Investment Management Co., LLC. In his role at Longfellow, Tom was responsible for developing relationships with institutional and high net worth clients and their advisors and providing ongoing client service. Before joining Longfellow in 2010, Tom worked in the shareholder services division of Seligman Mutual Funds, providing guidance to shareholders and their representatives. He previously served in a donor relations capacity for a legal non-profit in Washington, DC. Tom is a graduate of Cedarville University. He earned his Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. Tom is also a graduate of the Cannon Financial Trust School and earned his Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor designation. He is a 2022 graduate of Leadership Seacoast, serves as Secretary for the New Hampshire Estate Planning Council, and also serves as a pro-bono financial planning coach for Wings for Widows.

Brian P. Carolan, CFA®

Co-Chief Investment Officer, Portfolio Manager

Brian has over 25 years investment experience. Prior to launching CMH Wealth Management, Brian supervised a team that was responsible for over $1.5 billion in assets at US Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management. Prior to US Trust, Brian was a portfolio manager at Fidelity Investments and was also a portfolio strategist responsible for asset allocation decisions for total assets of over $3 billion. Brian earned his B.S.B.A. from Villanova University where he was a scholarship member of the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) and he earned his M.B.A. from Babson College. Brian was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1999 and he is graduate of Cannon Financial Institute’s Trust program. Brian served in the US Navy from 1987 to 1991 and was honored with the Navy Achievement Medal and Navy Commendation Medal. Brian is a member of both the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute and the Boston Security Analyst Society. Brian serves as a current board member and finance committee member for Seacoast Mental Health Center. 

Kristen L. Hanley

Chief Compliance Officer, Portfolio Manager

Kristen has over 25 years of experience in the investment industry. Prior to launching CMH Wealth Management, Kristen served as Vice President and portfolio manager at US Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management. Prior to joining US Trust, Kristen held the position of portfolio manager with First NH Investment Services. Kristen earned both her B.A. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of New Hampshire. Kristen previously served as a board member of Families First Health and Support Center of the Greater Seacoast. 

John P. Fredette, CFA®

Co-Chief Investment Officer, Portfolio Manager

John has over 15 years of investment and financial experience. Prior to joining CMH Wealth Management in July 2017, as Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager, John was solely responsible for managing over $275 million in assets at a local Portsmouth bank. John also previously worked at Fidelity Investments for over seven years. John was an Assistant Portfolio Manager and analyst at Fidelity Investments on the asset allocation team, which managed over $15 billion. John earned his BS in Accounting, including a minor in Economics, from Plymouth State University. He also earned his MS in Finance from Southern NH University. John was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2012. John is a member of both the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute and the Boston Security Analyst Society.

Debbie Brown, Director of Operations

Director of Operations

Debbie joined CMH Wealth Management in April of 2015 after working at Fidelity Investments for 13 years, most recently in Benefits Consulting. She has over 25 years experience in financial services, including project management, client relationship management and product management. In addition, Debbie received her BSBA from the University of Delaware and her MBA in Finance from Boston College. Debbie is extremely client focused and is proficient in a variety of data systems.

Nikki Hill, Operations Manager

Nikki joined CMH Wealth Management in October of 2009 after working with the principals at US Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management as a trust administrator and operations specialist for over 6 years. Nikki brings a wealth of technical experience and a commitment to client service. Prior to joining US Trust, she worked in loan administration for Fleet Bank. Nikki started her career working at Abenaqui Country Club in accounting and member services.  Nikki serves as a current board member and assistant treasurer of Womenade of Greater Squamscott.
